At Leggett & Platt, the warranty call center team relied on manual exports and stale batch reports. 400+ database tables contained redundant, inconsistent data — and business partners had no programmatic access to ticket information.
What I Built
- Stored procedures to clean and normalize data across 400 tables, running 2,000+ queries to fix integrity issues
- RESTful API exposing customer service ticket data to partners in real time — replacing batch exports with 24/7 live access
- Database triggers to automate data capture and retrieval, removing manual intervention
- In-house Windows app in C# for processing returned electronic components
Impact
Partners went from waiting days for batch reports to accessing live data around the clock. Data cleanup reduced query errors across 400 tables and established a reliable foundation the team continues to build on.
